오픈AI 대변인 역시 월스트리트 저널에, "우리는 파트너십의 세부 사항을 적극적으로 협의 중이며, NVIDIA는 초기부터 우리의 성과를 뒷받침해 주며, 앞으로도 중심 역할을 할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
현재까지 오픈AI는 차기 단계의 투자 유치 계획을 놓고 NVIDIA와 MS, 아마존 등과 협의 중인 것으로 알려졌다. 한편, 이는 고작 몇 천억 원 대의 지분 투자가 이루어질 것이라는 보도도 있다. 황 CEO는 "얼만큼 투자할 것인지는 오픈AI의 샘 알트만 CEO가 발표할 부분"이라고 덧붙였다.

This response comes following a Wall Street Journal article suggesting that NVIDIA is reconsidering its commitment to the AI company.
Contrary to assertions in the report, which indicated tensions over OpenAI’s business strategy, Huang dismissed these claims as nonsense. During his visit to Taipei, he reassured reporters, stating that NVIDIA is committed to participating in further funding rounds with OpenAI, describing it as "a very good investment." He expressed strong belief in OpenAI, praising their historically significant work.
Furthermore, an OpenAI representative told the Wall Street Journal that both companies are "actively working through the details of our partnership," asserting that NVIDIA has underpinned their progress and will continue to be crucial as they scale.
OpenAI is reportedly in discussions to secure further funding, engaging with companies like NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Amazon. Although the exact figures are not disclosed, suggestions indicate potential investments running into tens of billions of dollars. Huang noted that the announcement on the scale of the investment would be made by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
