Online platform OnlyFans is reportedly exploring a major ownership shift, capturing significant attention within the industry. This move comes after several previous attempts to sell the company fell through, this time engaging in talks with Architect Capital, a San Francisco-based investment firm. OnlyFans is widely recognized for its subscription-based adult content.
Reports indicate that the current deal is expected to include $3.5 billion in equity and $2 billion in debt, valuing OnlyFans at $5.5 billion. Presently, OnlyFans is in exclusive negotiations with Architect Capital, meaning it cannot negotiate with other potential buyers for a specified period.
While not officially concluded yet, last year, OnlyFans' owner Leonid Radvinsky also contemplated a sale with Forest Road Company, which did not materialize.
